Rock Bolts

The bolt rod is made of a 18G2A or R55 ø30 x 6.3 mm steel tube and plain AP 600 or 34GS steel bar of ø18.3 mm. KE-4W/M20 shell fixes the bolt in the hole during the injection.

The top part of the ø30 x 6.3 mm tube has an internal M20 thread for coupling with the M20 threaded bar and 4 ø6 mm holes for the adhesive injection grout. The bottom part of the tube has a M30x2 thread, whilst in the mid-section there is a stopping collar to work with the seal. The seal is a rubber tube that expands after applying the tube and M30x2 nut.

RM-20 bolt is a steel reinforcing bar of nominal diameter d_n=20 mm, while POK-22 bolts have a nominal rod diameter of d_n=22 mm according to PN-82/H93215. They are made of 34GS steel.

The anchor rods are ribbed reinforcing bars of d_r=18.2 mm made of AP 600 steel according to ZN-95/AP-3 standard.

RM rods are divided into the following types:

• RM -18
• RMn -18

Resin bolt type RM-18 in a split/chamfered version can be made of stainless or acid resistant steel.

AP bolts are modern design anchors with a load capacity of up to 300 kN and a nut locking system (shear pin). The anchors can be used with three types of washers; a square washer, a round washer or a square washer with an eyelet made of 8 or 10 mm plate.

Resin Bolts Type G are anchors of modern design, with high anchoring and adjustment range of capacity.

Anchor rods are made of ribbed bar of nominal diameters d_n = 20, d_n = 22, d_n = 25, d_n = 28, and d_n = 32 mm. Rods are threaded and beveled on its top with an angle of 45° or flat.

Rock bolt assemblies with extended-length coarse thread, for multiple re-tightening after installation with resin capsules. Assemblies comprise the stud, matching nut and bearing plate washer, in a variety of bolt diameters and lengths. Rock bolt assemblies are packaged as complete, ready-to install units.

The stud portion of the Rock Bolt Assembly comprises a deformed steel bar with a cold-rolled thread at one end.
The Tyta Bolt has a 6mm pitch knuckle thread, with proprietary form, from lengths of 200 mm up to a maximum of 500 mm in length.

The material is hot rolled carbon steel of homogeneous microstructure and uniform hardness across the cross-sectional area. Rock bolt assemblies are packaged as complete, ready-to install units and are used for anchoring, roof stabilisation, rock surface control and structural reinforcement.
